The day I gave a ship
Mar. 27th, 2018 06:22 amSomeplace in a foreign land, a man's mind asunder
With Spectral Eyes and Lord of Flies but still he praises Wonder
Yet deep within his heart has sinned as the time stands still
Ripples of the thoughts of your desires send deep chills
Demons cried as Heaven sighed his actions brought to nil
The actress dies with all her lies as assassins closed for kill
As Nobody breathes the light molest the clock
The Jack might stay in turbulent waves if only there were a dock.
And at the keel of the the ship's big wheel, the Captain laments the truth
But getting the crew to sing the tune is like trying to pull a tooth.
So someplace upon a foreign sea the Cap'n ship gets tossed
Up and down and all around, even the compass is lost.
Deceit to port! The mast has cracked, the sails are left to tatters
This way and that the crew has spat, salty dogs do not flatter
Mutiny upon the seas, the ship becomes a wreck
With blood stained hands, the Cap still stands, proud upon the deck
Behold Davey Jones with all his bones salutes as they go under
Breaking bread with the dead, a new ghost ship praises Wonder!
