Who needs who?
Looks like they need me more than I need them.
Now Fred was stitching a bit more of his puzzles together. The downloads were real, that much was known. His download process was somewhere between a 2 to 4 hour process. It was hard for him to tell because when the processing was at low bandwidth, it was hardly noticeable but when the band bandwidth was at full stream he could physically feel the computations being ran in the back of his cranium. He was already a ghost in that machine. What was becoming more clear was that there were many others... and they were not there willingly. They wanted out. They were promised bodies but something was botched. Now a legion of I-ness was swarming at the port.
Who was going to get them out?
Maybe an emp would release them all from their digital purgatory?
Fred needed more information and he needed it fast.

First report called men/women primitive or delusional for acting on the voice of "Gods".
Five pages into the second report the arthur describes how the whole thing came about by hearing a voice: "Out of nowhere a voice spoke to me:"
Do you see why I'm having a hard time here?
