Clickety clack went the keyboard before Zak. The lights had been turned off at the office of Knight Tech leaving only a few computer screens and an occasional hologram cutting the air to illuminate the space. Fred was reclined in his chair to the lowest angle it would recede. His headset was on but his eyes were closed. He murmured something that brought Zak snapping out of his augmentation programming into "this reality".

"What was that?" Zak called back.

"Dude..." Fred seemed dazed. "Dude, if this data is right... we have branched out several dozen timelines whose permutations are still resonating as we speak... I can feel when a factor I change reverberates in a positive fashion. I can FEEL the updated timeline. Like, like I can feel the "quickening of the echo". Especially when editing the physics with new math dropped into older versions of the build. It's B.A.F.!"

If Fred had opened his eyes, he would have seen Zak raising his eyebrow rather Vulcan like while asking "What is B.A.F?"

Without stirring from his position Fred smiled back; "Bizarre As Fuck".

Fred could hear Zak slightly chuckle under his breath.

"Well, I have all your stats and vitals here. There is a peak flux of your heart, adrenaline and brain data after several successful scenarios, although I had surmised that was simply the excitement of the new neural-net interface and interaction. I had not calculated for any kinetic response from a feedback AU-loop. Very interesting."

"No." Fred blurt as he sat up removing his headgear. "You wanna know what's interesting?" He lit a cigarette and cracked open his window before continuing.

"Tesseract Tesla Coils mounted inside bell shaped electronic envelopes with the Schumann Resonance amped to max cranial capacity while Spooky Action Qusicrystals Quantumly Entangle in my brain. THAT'S INTERESTING. Updating this matrix is like doing drugs man. It's Deep. It's heavy. It's cool. But I suppose that just like drugs, it can be dangerous or toxic if abused..." Fred trailed off as he took another drag.

Zak looked amused.

"I'm serious man, look; we updated the language and I was hit with this wave right... then, then all these ideas just began pouring out of my subconscious. You were right about the programming while dreaming too. It happened a few times now, I just wake up halfway through some lecture I was giving in a dream... I mean mid sentence man... my chip gets it all and I know Knight Tech isn't getting that data. I scoured for it and inquired among the team. That data is going straight to Hex. Anyhow, what's so deep about this Tesseract signal is that I'm getting diagrams and schematics of things that don't exist... at least not on earth as far as I can tell."

Fred's eyes were wide as he paced like a raging tiger in circles, smoke billowed up in spirals left by his trail.

"Like this modified tesla coil I keep seeing. Something to do with a gold magnet (which is impossible I know) but it runs with an alternate current to transfer a secondary sine wave or signal that arcs the gap. It's hard to explain but it is like shifting frequency in a light band, say from red to purple. This energy wave function allows for one to skip a few rungs up the proverbial ladder. It gets into chemistry, cymatics and alien propulsion technologies... but anyhow, I'm digressing... the thing is like a term in electromagnetics known as "winding the coil". Remember the Rodin Coil dynamics?"

Zak was about to respond before Fred just blazoned on.

"Well, at the 777th turn you "tap" the wire (it's a convergence point) thereby creating the "jig", then coil amperes, terminals, capacitance, parallelling and voltage. With enough discharge properly directed and non-ferrous materials, the whole thing penetrates into translucent hydra silica and diffracts off symmetry. The ordered arrays of bubble like particles are programmable and scalable down to a stunning 330 millimicrons! It's mind-blowing!"

For the first time in recent memory Zak was utterly stunned. He had no words. He just looked at Fred, his jaw slightly agape, gears slowly turning in his head.

"No." replied Fred to Zak's as of yet unformulated thought. "No, this would not effect our psionic mirror programs but definitely our core programming levels one through five." Fred began pacing in the opposite direction now.

"Hex!" called out Fred to the air. "Voice to text the following: There are seven main intelligences of the human brain which must be accounted for and added to our new A.I. algorithms and neural-interface test environments.

1.) Body-Kinesthetic/Physical (which seems odd for a machine but trust me)
2.) Interpersonal (understanding and working with other people - how to program empathy?)
3.) Intrapersonal (inner-self, emotional states - again odd for a computer/programmer)
4.) Linguistic (language/words/etymology/multiple definition summary)
5.) Logical/Mathematical (numbers, programming, coding, etc.)
6.) Spatial Intelligence (pictures, images, space)
7.) Musical (rhythm, melody, and harmony, see cymatics, fractals and sacred geometry)

The task was registered as complete with an audible chime from some speaker in the room. Fred looked rather pleased with himself as he scratched at his chin in thought. He looked over to Zak for some sort of acknowledgement. All he got back was a look of astonishment.

"Is that not enough?" Fred crossed his arms with a wry grin spreading across his face. "Ok then, how about 'Living Glass'?"

Zak's mouth gaped a bit wider. "What?"

"Living glass. It is a new invention I came up with earlier this week. I plan on sending the designs back through the Chronoweave and updating everything again, very soon! We need to line up a few more things before that next wave hits. This is starting to get real exciting." Fred beamed.
